ADA Compliance Guide In response to customer demand, we have developed ADA Compliant versions of several of our sconces. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), lighting fixtures cannot extend more than 4" from the wall when mounted at heights less than 80". These regulations apply for all fixtures installed in public areas of commercial and institutional buildings. Bower Sconce Size: ADA Dimensions: 18"H X 9"W X 4"D (Can be designed to hang vertically or horizontally) Description: Our smallest Bower Sconce is built to be ADA compliant out of the box. At 4" deep, the ADA Bower does not require a wall recess. Luminary Sconce Size: ADA Dimensions: 13"H X 8"W X 4"D (Can be designed to hang vertically or horizontally) Description: Our smallest Luminary Sconce is built to be ADA compliant out of the box. At 4" deep, the ADA Luminary does not require a wall recess. Cocoon Sconce Size: Small Dimensions: 16"H X 9"W X 7"D Description: Our smallest Cocoon Sconce is designed to be ADA compliant when placed in a recess of at least 3". Thicket Sconce Size: Tiny Dimensions: 18"H X 11"W X 8"D Description: Our smallest Thicket Sconce is designed to be ADA compliant whend placed in a recess of at least 4". |
